1.Leo the Late Bloomer

Bloomer

When a flower blooms, it opens or is open, and when a plant or tree blooms it produces flowers:

A late bloomer is a person who fulfills their potential later than expected; they often have talents that aren't visible to others initially.

But Leo still wasn't blooming.

Then one day, in his own good time.

He was a sloppy eater.

very wet or liquid, often in a way that is unpleasant:

The trees budded. 

bud: n/ a small part of a plant, that develops into a flower or leaf

2.Peppa pig goes skiing

They have to take a ski lift all the way to the top of Snowy Mountain.

He does not like the way the ski lift clunks and clanks.

3.Mr McGee and the Perfect Nest 

Nothing would do except the best

This nest is too small. It won't do at all.

won't do를 쓴 그림책이 project x origin만 있는줄알았는데 이 그림책도 있었다. 

복습의 묘미는 처음엔 몰랐던 맥락을 알게되는데 있다.

처음엔 별로였던 책도 이해가 되면될수록 좋아진다.

그림도 귀엽도 내용도 귀엽다.

 

4.Snow

But as soon as one snowflake melts another takes its place 

어떻게 문장을 만들 수 있는지 예시가 되어준다.

Circling and swirling, spinning and twirling, dancing, playing, there, and there, ...

circle: to draw a circle around something

swirl: to move around quickly in a circle; to make something do this

twirl:  to move or dance round and round; to make somebody do this

And rooftops grow lighter, and lighter.

어린아이의 시각에서 하얗게 변해가는 세상을 담은 동화다. 문장도 좋고 그림도 보기 좋다.

 

 

5.Little Yellow Dog Gets a Shock 

little yellow dog trotted into the sitting room.

trot:to run or walk fast, taking short, quick steps

trot:  to move forward at a speed that is faster than a walk and slower than a canter

canter: a movement of a horse at a speed that is fairly fast but not very fast; a ride on a horse moving at this speed

too right. Get off

shriek:  to give a loud high shout, for example when you are excited, frightened or in pain

snuggle up

snuggle: v)to get into, or to put somebody/something into, a warm comfortable position, especially close to somebody

더 이해도가 높아져서 그런지는 몰라도 전반적으로 재미가 증가했다.
